Student Leadership

We strongly believe in providing children with leadership opportunities and there are many different ways children can choose to be involved in Academy life.

Examples include classroom monitors, playground leaders, members of the Academy Parliament and Digital Leaders to support online safety. Throughout the year, children will be provided with information about different leadership opportunities and how they can apply if they would like to.

Parliament

We are pleased to announce that are Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister have been chosen as well as 10 other children to be House Leaders. All the children gave fantastic reasons why they should be chosen for Parliament and they will be working over the coming year on various projects and bringing in ideas the children have on making their school even better!

 

Digital Leaders

We are pleased to announce that the Digital Leaders have been selected and will be working diligently to teach the whole school about online safety. In the new year they will be going to an event to meet other Digital Leaders from around the country and will be hosting an online safety activity.

 

Junior Travel Ambassadors

We are very excited to announce that our four Junior Travel Ambassadors have been selected and will be working to teach the whole school about safe and active travel. In a couple of weeks, they will attend a Celebration Event where they will meet other JTA’s, take part in workshops and activities. We can’t wait to hear all about it.
