What is Freckle Maths?
Freckle is an online learning platform that allows students to practice Maths at their own level. Freckle continuously adapts to each student’s individual skills, so each student is getting the appropriate challenge, whether they’re working at, above, or below grade level.
How do pupils access Freckle Maths?
All children in HATO have a class code, username and password to gain access to their account.
Freckle Maths is used at home as our new platform for homework. Teachers will set tasks on Freckle for pupils to complete weekly.
It appears on pupils’ student dashboard as such:
Rewards
You earn digital “coins” for your correct answers in Freckle.
Once you have completed a level or earned a certain number of coins, you can visit the “Piggy Store” to purchase decorations for your avatar, such as t-shirts, wigs, and accessories.
To encourage pupils more, children will be awarded with a bronze, silver or gold badge when they attain a particular number of coins. The numbers of coins are tracked by teachers.
